You keep ownership
You retain ownership of the songs, lyrics, recordings, files, and other creative work you add to Make More Songs. Using the service does not transfer that ownership to us.
Permission to operate the service
You give Make More Songs a limited permission to host, store, process, display, transmit, back up, and share your work when needed to provide the service or when you direct us to share it. We do not use private creative work to train artificial-intelligence systems.
Third-party audio
The Piano keyboard uses Salamander Grand Piano V3 samples by Alexander Holm, and the E. Piano setting uses FreePats FM Piano #1 samples by Roberto for the FreePats project. These sample sets are locally packaged as browser audio assets and mapped to the Make More Songs keyboard sampler under their respective Creative Commons licenses. This attribution does not imply endorsement by the sample creators.
Before you share
Only upload or share material when you have the rights and permissions needed to do so. If other writers, performers, producers, or collaborators contributed to the work, make sure your sharing choices respect the agreements you have with them.
Reporting copyright concerns
If you believe material on Make More Songs infringes your copyright, email hey@makemoresongs.com with your name and contact information, a description of the copyrighted work, the location of the material, a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is unauthorized, and a statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights holder. Include your signature or other confirmation of identity.
Our response
We will review copyright reports and may restrict access to material while we review a complaint. This is our initial copyright-reporting process; we will expand the formal notice, counter-notice, and designated-contact details as the business is registered and the service matures.
